WHAT TYPES OF DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED?

FISH Mending Nets, Inc. accepts donations of basic necessities, household furnishings, , clothing, baby supplies, food and household goods, in addition to monetary donations.

FISH Mending Nets, Inc. is a Section 501(c) (3) Public Charity, EIN 85-3362354. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer. Importantly, no goods or services are provided in exchange for your contribution.

CAN I ORGANIZE A FUNDRAISING EVENT AT MY HOME, NEIGHBORHOOD, WORKPLACE OR PLACE OF WORSHIP?

Yes - great idea!


We welcome both individual and corporate donations, including employer matching programs. Please give your employer our information so that you can make the most of your kind donation.

HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION DIRECTLY SUPPORTS THE CAUSE?

As an all-volunteer Board of Directors, our entire donation supports those in need.

HOW CAN I MAKE A MONETARY DONATION WITHOUT INCURRING ADDITIONAL FEES FOR THE NONPROFIT

We appreciate you wanting to ensure that every dollar donated helps a person in need.

By using Zelle, Venmo, check/cash or the PayPal Giving Fund, you are ensuring that every dollar you contribute goes directly towards our mission, as there are no processing fees associated with these transactions. This means that your entire donation will be dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. When donating through PayPal (as opposed to the PayPal Giving Fund), it does charge a processing fee.

ARE MY DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?

Yes.


Fish Mending Nets, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit (EIN: 85-3362354), registered with the Florida
Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) to solicit donations.


We are an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
